Hard Lib is a source code library for mods created by Draco18s like Harder Ores, Harder Underground, Harder Wildlife. These mods have complex mechanisms, therefore it is necessary to have a common source code for easy update and maintainance. If you are a good coder, you can find in Hard Lib many connecting codes and libraries that can work both ways.
Hardlib was a part of the Reasonable Realism mod, and when Reasonable Realism was split into four different mods: Harder Ores, Harder Wildlife (now Harder Farming), Harder Underground and Expanded Industry, Hardlib was also split into a separate mod to support mods that need to use HardLib. Now when players use one of the mods of the Reasonable Realism collection, they can install HardLib to use those mods separately without having to install the entire collection likes before.
Harder Ores makes the processing and mining of minerals more challenging but also more interesting. Harder Underground makes the underground world more dangerous not only for the monsters and the dark. Harder Farming changes the mechanism of nature’s activity to give players more new experiences when living in nature. All these mods need to use HardLib. HardLib requires Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft versions 1.11.2 / 1.10.2 / 1.7.10.
