Are you tired of having to build a huge storage just to keep your items? With Iron Chest Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5, players can now have access to a series of high capacity and multi-function chests. The mod also offers many items that you can use to upgrade the good-old wooden chest into a better one. Just click and drag materials into the chest, it will be upgraded to the next tier.
Iron Chest Mod will add 6 new chests for you to craft in Vanilla Minecraft.
This mod brings you 6 new chests to craft: Iron Chest, Gold Chest, Diamond Chest, Crystal Chest, Obsidian Chest and Dirt Chest. But if you install mods that have Silver and Copper resource, you can use these 2 resources to upgrade your own chests into Silver and Copper Chest. These new chests have higher capacity. At the last tier, you can keep tons of items with just a single chest. You can also upgrade the Diamond Chest to Crystal Chest – allow you to see its content and Obsidian Chest with the ability to withstand blasts.
You can only craft these chests if your installed mods have Silver and Copper.

This mod requires Forge installed and compatible with Minecraft 1.9.4, 1.10.2, 1.11.2, 1.12.
How to Install:
- 1. Download Forge Installer and Iron Chest mod.
- 2. Right click, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge.
- 3. Open Start on Desktop.
- 4. Run Run.
- 5. Type %appdata% into Run and press enter.
- 6. Go to Roaming/.minecraft/mods
- 7. Put the Iron-Chest.jar file into mods folder and then run Minecraft.
