Rock Candy Mod 1.8.9 adds in 10 delicious flavors of rock candy, each giving different potion effects when consumed. You can then condense 9 of the same colored candy into a block to create tools and armor. Just holding the rock candy tools in your hand or wearing the full armor set gives you buffs. The 5 types of rock candy ore are found between depth 0 and 45, so finding them is easy. So, grab a pickaxe and start hunting for your brand-new food source.

How to install:

  • Download and install Minecraft Forge.
  • Download the mod.
  • Click on the Start Menu in Windows.
  • Type run into the search box, and select the Run program at the top of the results.
  • Type %appdata% into the Run program, and press Enter.
  • Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
  • Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into that.
  • Enjoy the mod.
