The Midnight Mod 1.12.2 is a mod that is programmed and designed by Mod Developer Cryptic Mushroom for the purpose of bringing your vast Minecraft world into a whole new dimension of mysterious, ghostly and worthy space for you to explore. The Midnight is a dimension of darkness, where the only light that exists is the light from the crystals and strange plants. You can voluntarily step into the darkness of The Midnight, or unfortunately encounter an evil creature called Rifter and be dragged into this dangerous dimension.
In order to reach this dimension, you need to find a Space Rift. These Space Rift will appear randomly at night, both on the ground and in caves. Before you step into this magical world, make sure you are fully prepared. The Midnight is not an ideal place to go sightseeing!
Created to participate in the Halloween theme MMD SpookyJam 2018 programming contest, The Midnight is only programmed within 2 weeks. At present, the mod has not much content, but it is enough for you to visit this strange space, decorate your house with blocks of unique shape without too much trouble!

How to Install The Midnight 1.12.2 for Minecraft
- Download Forge Installer, The-Midnight-1.12.2.jar file
- Right-click Forge Installer, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if you’ve installed Minecraft Forge)
- Open Start on desktop > Open Run (Or you can use the Windows + R keyboard shortcut)
- Type %appdata% into Run and press enter.
- Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
- Put jar file of the Mod into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
