Welcome to The Overgrowth Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4). This isn’t a direct port of the crystals. They have been modified to look more pretty (made more transparent). The generation mimics that of amethyst geodes, but with these crystals. You can now enjoy pretty building blocks as long as you meet their exploratory needs!!

  • This mod adds Time Progression to the Game:

High Speedup Example:

  • Grass/Flowers/Ferns slowly grow on grass everywhere
  • Underwaterplants slowly spread out
  • Some blocks next to water turn into the mossy ones
  • Spiders leave their webs on certain blocks
  • Torches eventually break
  • Coast Areas made of Sand, Gravel and Dirt can get eaten up by the sea
  • Mushrooms grow in humid areas
  • Farmland has a chance to decline
  • Lava, when not surrounded by lava dries out
  • Lava can eat up and damage blocks around it
  • Nylium spreads on netherrack exposed to air
  • Entities leave paths around when walking often somewhere
  • Animals have a tiny chance to spawn even after worldgen
  • Coal Campfires eventually turn off
  • Mud gets dried up when it doesn’t rain and there is not a lot of mud or water adjacent
  • Dirt can become mud when it rains
